led ceiling lamp

ceiling lamp made from fractally arranged standard parts: bulb socket doublers and led bulbs.
uses only about 50watts and outputs more than 2000lm...

still in beta. i´m further experimenting with this concept.

a simple bottle holder with an explanatory sticker mounted on the surface of the trash can would fix the problem and raise awareness for the poor.
the waste management authorities would benefit as well, since the bottles are then rather fed back into the recycling chain and would not necessarily have to be sorted before disposal.
additionally, sorting the trash for recycling would become less dangerous, as there would be less broken glass to deal with.

steel wires that function as bottle holders are hooked into the opening of the dustbin and secured with a regular metalstrap. the bottles can be comfortably hooked in by their neck. usage is encouraged, as it is easier for the user to slide the bottle on to the hook than to stick it through the small trash opening.
these bottle holders won't cover any advertising on the trashcans, they are quick and easy to install and to uninstall.
they almost universally fit for all bottle sizes, are safe (no risk of injury due to rounded forms) and are cheap and convenient to produce by CNC wire bending. stickers containing information about the purpose of the contraption can be freely placed as needed, containing a text such as:
Use our bottle-rack! Sadly many people rely on collecting bottle deposit to make a living. Sifting through the garbage isn't only degrading but poses a large risk of getting cut on broken glass. Make a difference.Thank you.

this project won the Awesome Foundation Award Berlin.
in the atfermath, it was suggested to the Berlin City Council and to the local Recycling Company, BSR.
both liked the idea, but in the end sadly turned it down for flimsy reasons...

concept / flyer for an illegal party

concept and flyer for an illegal party in a pedestrian subway. people could bring their own radios, the dj-set was broadcast from a secret place by a pirate station.

the flyer states: reconquer urban spaces! we broadcast with a pirate station, bring along your ghettoblaster. mix cocktails in thermo jugs. a beer cascet is a seat. stand up!

mantras for bathing and soothing

little audio and loop player box i soldered for the bathroom, for bathing to be precise. choose the buddha loop and a suitable mantra and relax or use the audio player to listen to your own tunes.
